Watercolor (Preview)

April 23, 2013

Just some of the things I've been working on lately in art class.

It's nice to get away from the house, and just paint.
Watercolor has been a challenge to me ever since,
It's just a matter of getting used to.
Also, I am in obvious need of a smaller brush...

I love how everything just flows, and how simple (or not so simple)
it actually is. I love how you can't control everything or
make it look perfect and real, because I need to learn that.
I love how dreamy it looks and how undefined lines seem.

I think one of these are going to go to the exhibit :)
I'm still working on some, but until then you'll have to wait.

p.s. *spoiler alert* if you guys were wondering who was who in my photo-off post, I am the left and Audrey was the right. (If there's one thing you would learn about our techniques, I love working with shadows and Audrey loves to do macro shots; congrats to both of us, haha!)
