Rainy May and Mother's Day v.2

May 12, 2013

Happy Mother's Day everyone! First of all, I would like to say thanks to my mom and every single one of them out there. I just came home from my [Kairos 2013] camp yesterday, and it was such a blast. I got to meet new friends, realize things I should have a long time ago, go closer to God and tire myself out. We went straight to my cousin's house where we celebrated and played games. It was really fun, and they got to sleep over! I didn't though, because I had to rest. So I did, and I woke up at 12:30 today. Oops.

"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come."

- Proverbs 31:25

Long story short, I made a card and a painting for my mom before I left for camp. The big one if my gift to my parents for their anniversary (which was May 5) and the one on the left is obviously, my gift to her. It has been pouring way too much outside, but I would like to think this lightened up her day. Love you mom!

  1. Your mom must be very lucky, how did paint that? You're very good with watercolor.

    1. thank you so much! i'm totally not an expert, but from what i've learned, make all your mixes in the palette, start from light to dark and sketch outlines for a guide. everything else (water, strokes, brushes) depend on how you want it to look :)
